Compass Genomics Changes Name, Expands Market Focus


St. Louis, MO - April 15, 2005 - Today Compass Genomics changed its name to Compass Informatics in order to broaden its market base for data management services.

"Even though we started our business to tackle the massive data management problems of the biotech industry, we have come to find that many other types of business can benefit from the data management expertise that we have at Compass." states Richard Lesh, President of Compass Informatics.  "The name change better reflects the broader applicability of our services."
